It is a unique opportunity. 2012 I was appointed as the conference manager for the upcoming European Meetings on Cybernetics and Systems Research in April 2012 in Vienna, Austria. I am excited to be part of the relaunch of an event series that made history in the past and will certainly make future in the present 😉

For everyone who is interested in meeting, sharing, inspiring, getting inspired, co-creating, and … here is the call:

We invite you to submit your extended abstract to the 21st European Meeting on Cybernetics and Systems Research. Visit the website at http://www.emcsr.net!

The meeting will take place from April 10 to April 13, 2012, in Vienna, on the CampusoftheUniversityofVienna, Austria.

The time has come to reflect on the aims, the scope and the tools of a multitude of approaches. Platforms for the self-understanding of the whole field of cybernetics, systems research, the sciences of complexity are needed now more than ever. (more…)

I like this prezi by Tarundeep Singh Bhatia very much, especially because of the tips for kids and parents. And as friend asked me seriously when to buy a computer for his 8 year old kid, it is not only a question when, but more for what reason and how to use it, hopefully TOGETHER!
